It’s 10:41pm and I’m writing this on impulse. I don’t know what this blog is going to be about yet — I just know I wanted to start. And honestly, if I wait for the “right” moment to do anything properly, it’s neverrrrr going to happen.
As co‑owner of a coffee business, running operations and shifts, and being a very present mom to our son who’s out of school for summer — I could claim I have no free time. But the real hindrance isn’t time. It’s how I’ve viewed myself as an artist. I overthink, I lose motivation, I compare myself, I get stuck… and then life happens and I shut down until nights like this.
Lately though, I’ve been getting these small bursts of inspiration. I’ve been creating at a slower pace, with intention, in a way that actually fits my life right now — and it feels good.
So for now, enjoy my latest paper goods and my impulse blog. Expect weekly flaws, tiny wins, and my attempt to be more productive. I may not post again for two years — we’ll see.
